There’s more than just a parade going on in Chicago for Thanksgiving. The entire week leading up to Thanksgiving has plenty of events and activities for all ages. If you find yourself in Chicago for Turkey day, check out the activities and events below.
We’re not just talking about Black Friday. Stores all over the city are going to having special deals and sales leading up to Black Friday. Some might actually choose to close. Run the Turkey Trot

Watch huge inflatable cartoon characters float through the streets of the loop at the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade. The parade takes place on State Street between Congress pkwy and Randolph (Just a few stops from the hostel on the Blue Line).
