Chicago has become of a hub for foodies in the past decade. The Chicago food scene is elite in taste, but open to all. When it comes to food, there is a little bit of everything that has been perfected. Barbecue, seafood, steaks (Duh), Italian, French, Mexican, etc., for every food category Chicago has restaurant that tops the list. We also have chef celebrities to brag about, Rick Bayless, Paul Kahan, and Grant Achatz just to name a few.

Obviously we’re not going to list every single restaurant in Chicago, that’s Yelp’s and Metromix’s job. However, we will list our favorite restaurants in not only the Wicker Park neighborhood, but throughout the entire city of Chicago. We will break out our lists based on neighborhood. Again this is not an end all be all list of Chicago’s best restaurants, just some of Holiday Jones’ favorite places to eat.
